Our representative will escort you through immigration procedures and take you to the pre-booked hotel room. Following a delightful breakfast, we'll convene for a briefing before heading to the airport for a flight to Nepalgunj. This vibrant city, nestled on the border of Nepal and India, serves as a gateway to various scenic treks. We'll spend the night at a comfortable hotel, resting and gearing up for the trek ahead.
After breakfast in Nepalgunj, we embark on a picturesque short flight to the Dolpo region's airport. Our trek commences by tracing terraced farmlands along the Bheri river. Traversing a narrow gorge, we reach Dunai, where we'll spend the night in a hotel/lodge.
Exiting Dunai, we cross a suspension bridge and trek westward, ascending through the Thulo Bheri valley towards the Phoksundo river valley. Passing villages and dense forests, we'll set up camp at Ankhe.
The trail to Sulighat involves various ascents and descents, streams, and forests. After a challenging yet rewarding six-hour trek, we'll reach Sulighat, where we'll rest in tented camps.
Our trek continues towards the confluence of Phoksundo and Pungmo rivers, leading us to Ringmo village via the western bank of the Pungmo river. The following day will be dedicated to exploring the pure Phoksundo Lake and immersing ourselves in the culture and lifestyle of Ringmo village.

Traversing a challenging glacial valley, our route is marked by rocks and boulders, guided by our experienced Sherpas. The day culminates in reaching a pastureland after a strenuous climb.
Our journey involves a demanding ascent to Kang La pass, offering breathtaking views. Following a steep descent, we traverse pasturelands and finally arrive at Shey Gompa.
A well-deserved rest day at Shey Gompa allows us to delve into the ancient pre-Buddhist culture, admire the Crystal mountain, and immerse ourselves in local traditions and landscapes.
We commence our trek through juniper and pine forests, culminating at Saldang La pass. Descending into pasturelands, we finally reach Namgung village, housing an old monastery of the KarmaPa sect.
Exiting Namgung village involves a challenging traverse along a rocky barren path, culminating at Saldang, the largest village in Inner Dolpo.
Our route takes us through wild barren terrain along the Nang Chu river, eventually leading to Yangze Gompa, an ancient Bon Po monastery.
Retracing our path to Saldang village, we then navigate through river beds, farmlands, stupas, Mani walls, and Namdo village, finally reaching our campsite at Sibu.
Following the Nam Khong river, we ascend steeply to Jeng La Phedi, where we'll camp overnight.
A two-hour trek leads us to the Jeng La pass at 5090 m, boasting stunning views. Descending into the Tarap valley, we'll navigate lush meadows towards Do Tarap for overnight camping.
Do Tarap, a picturesque village, provides a chance to explore the Ribo Bhuma Gompa and surrounding monasteries, offering a glimpse into the region's rich culture.
We trek through a wide valley, appreciating juniper bushes and wild roses along the route, finally camping at the confluence of Tarap Chu and Lang Khola.
