Trip Overview

Embark on an extraordinary adventure with Taktok Brothers as we present the Three High Passes Trek, commencing from Lukla (2828m/9278 feet). Traversing the Dudh Koshi valley, the journey unfolds the vibrant Sherpa culture, picturesque villages, and the bustling bazaar of Namche—a convergence point for trekkers and the path leading to the majestic Mt. Everest. Amidst friendly Sherpa communities, diverse traditions, and colorful festivals, the trek ascends to Lungden for the Renjo-La pass (5360m), offering breathtaking panoramic views of Everest and the Himalayan ranges.

Venturing off the beaten track, an excursion to the fourth and fifth lakes in Gokyo Valley enhances the experience. Gokyo Ri (5330m/17487 feet) stands as the premier viewpoint in the entire Everest Region, providing awe-inspiring vistas. Crossing the challenging Chola-La pass (5420m), the journey continues to Everest Base Camp, offering glimpses of Kalapather (5550m) for a stunning view of Mt. Everest and the Khumbu icefall. The trek concludes with the descent through Dingboche and Tengboche, ultimately returning to Lukla.

Lobuche Peak, adorned with two summits—East (6,119m) and West (6,145m)—beckons adventure enthusiasts. The East Peak, recognized as a trekking peak, and the West, deemed an Expedition Peak, are connected by a continuous ridge. Lobuche East’s ascent involves navigating snowy slopes to reach its summit ridge, with a false peak marking a notable point on the journey. The first ascent was achieved by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on April 25, 1984, adding a chapter to Lobuche’s intriguing history.

“We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to provide our services and share our wealth of experience with you.”
