Itinerary

Upon our arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to our hotel. After settling in, we'll have a chance to rest and explore the surroundings in Kathmandu.

Today, we'll engage in a cultural exploration of the Kathmandu Valley, visiting iconic sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, there will be a detailed trip briefing regarding our upcoming trek.

After an early breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Gonggar Khola, where we'll start our trek. The drive offers glimpses of rural life and stunning landscapes, providing us with a smooth transition to our trekking journey.

We begin our trek today, trekking from Gonggar Khola to Simigaon. Along the way, we traverse through lush forests, local villages, and scenic trails, getting a taste of the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region.

Today's trek takes us to Na Gaon. The journey involves gradual altitude gain, and we'll enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan vistas, arriving at Na Gaon to rest and acclimate.

A day dedicated to acclimatization at Na Gaon. We'll explore the local area, interact with the locals, and rest to allow our bodies to adjust to the higher altitude, ensuring a safe and comfortable ascent in the following days.

Continuing our trek, we head towards Chugima. The trail leads us through challenging yet rewarding terrain, offering stunning mountain views and a sense of accomplishment as we reach our campsite.

We trek to Jaboo Glacier, navigating through varying landscapes and enjoying the serenity of the high-altitude surroundings. Our campsite offers a unique perspective of the glacier and the surrounding Himalayan panorama.

Today involves a challenging yet thrilling trek as we cross Tashi Lapcha pass. The trail presents breathtaking views and a sense of achievement as we reach Tashi Phuk, a high-altitude campsite.

Descending from the high altitudes, we trek to Thengbo. The trail winds through rugged terrains and alpine landscapes, eventually leading us to the comfort of a lodge in Thengbo.

We trek to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town. The trail offers stunning views of the Himalayas and a rewarding sense of accomplishment upon reaching Namche Bazaar.

Our incredible journey comes to an end as we bid farewell to Nepal. We'll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for our onward flights, carrying with us cherished memories of our trek in the majestic Himalayas.

Trip Notes

Embark on an exhilarating journey with Taktok Brothers on the Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek, blending the serene Rolwaling valley with the vibrant Khumbu region in Nepal. Witness stunning Himalayan views and conquer the formidable Tashi Lapcha Pass at 5755m.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu (1400m), explore cultural landmarks on day two, and receive a detailed trip briefing in the evening. The trek starts on day three with a scenic drive to Gonggar Khola (1440m). Trekking through lush forests, reach Simigaon (2000m) on day four and Dongkang (3010m) on day five.

Continue the ascent to Beding (3693m), Na Gaon (4200m), and Chugima (4920m) on subsequent days. Dedicate day eight for acclimatization in Na Gaon. Day eleven presents a thrilling challenge as you cross Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m) to reach Tashi Phuk (5110m).

Descend to Thengbo (4230m) on day twelve, transitioning to comfortable lodges. Trek through Thame (3800m) and Namche Bazaar (3750m), offering cultural insights. The trek concludes with a descent to Lukla (2860m) on day fifteen and a scenic flight to Kathmandu on day sixteen.
