Pisang Peak, known locally as Jong Ri (6091 m), stands as a captivating pyramidal-shaped trekking peak nestled in the remote Manang district. Positioned between Annapurna I and Mt. Manaslu, Pisang Peak witnessed its inaugural ascent during a German Expedition in 1955.
Despite its imposing height of 6091 m, Pisang Peak is categorized as an easily accessible trekking peak. The climbing route encompasses scrambles, glaciers, and icy surfaces, featuring a low level of technicality that doesn’t demand extensive climbing experience. However, prioritizing proper rest and acclimatization throughout the trek and climbing phase is essential. The summit rewards climbers with extraordinary panoramic views, including the Chulu range, Annapurna massif, Damodar Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Tilicho peak, Glacier Dome, and numerous other smaller peaks. The exertion invested in the trek becomes truly worthwhile when beholding the majestic scenery from the summit.

Here, one can witness the rich culture and traditions of the Ghale community and Tibetan immigrants.
