Climbers are strongly advised to undergo thorough physical and mental preparation to acclimate to the remoteness, high altitude, and separation from their families. It is recommended to carry minimal valuable belongings and pack both cotton and warm clothing for your stay in Kathmandu and the Himalayas, respectively. Always keep a copy of your passport and photos with you.
Trekking and mountain climbing in the Everest Region are significantly influenced by weather conditions. While we strive to plan our trips during the most favorable times, unforeseen circumstances may lead to delays or cancellations of domestic flights to Lukla. In such instances, please note that additional expenses for extra days will be the responsibility of the client. Taktok Brothers will, however, arrange accommodation for porters and guides during these extended periods. For those preferring alternative arrangements, such as a helicopter flight to avoid delays, we can organize it at a reasonable additional cost.
Taktok Brothers will not be held liable for any compensation for losses arising from missed international flights. However, we will assist in making necessary arrangements to minimize your inconvenience. To prevent missed flights, we recommend maintaining flexible timeframes before and after the trip.
