Trip Overview

Embark on a thrilling adventure with Taktok Brothers to conquer Chulu West Peak, an enchanting summit nestled in the Damodar Himal Range within the pristine Manang Valley. As one of the highest trekking peaks in the Annapurna Region, Chulu West Peak presents a unique challenge, attracting both intermediate and amateur climbers. While technically straightforward, its sharp, steep summit demands a high level of stamina and strength.

Despite being a 6000er and categorized as a trekking peak, the altitude should never be underestimated. Trekkers navigate rugged terrain, including rocks and frozen ice, requiring utmost caution to reach the summit. Chulu West Peak, with all the characteristics of a true mountain, is an exhilarating choice for adventure lovers and mountaineers, serving as ideal training for those aspiring to conquer higher 7000ers and 8000ers.

The trek to Chulu West Peak follows the Marsyangdi valley into the Manang Valley, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna massif, Himlung Himal, and the Chulu range. Traverse through the Annapurna region, where the wilderness may reveal sightings of endangered species like Red Pandas, Musk Deers, Himalayan Black Bears, Ghorals, vibrant birds, and diverse flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in the admirable culture and traditions of local ethnic communities in the villages along the trek, surrounded by dramatic and surreal landscapes. The journey to Chulu West Peak is a blend of adventure, cultural immersion, natural exploration, and a lifetime of joyous memories.

Trip Notes

Trekking and mountain climbing in the Annapurna region are highly dependent on weather conditions. While we aim to schedule our trips at the most favorable times, in extreme scenarios, domestic flights to Pokhara may face delays or cancellations. In such cases, please note that additional expenses for extra days beyond the total itinerary duration will be borne by the client. However, Taktok Brothers will make necessary arrangements for the accommodation of porters and guides. If you prefer alternative arrangements, such as a helicopter flight to avoid delays, we can arrange it at a nominal extra charge.

Also, Taktok Brothers shall not be liable for any compensation for losses due to missed international flights. However, we are committed to helping you make necessary arrangements to minimize any potential loss. To avoid missing flights, we recommend maintaining flexible time frames before trip departure and after trip departure.

Please be informed that, as we will be traveling in remote areas with extreme climatic conditions and challenging geography where trails may be distorted at times, we might need to adjust our itineraries as required. Rest assured that the quality of service will not be compromised at any cost.

Cost of Expedition

Expedition costs vary based on factors such as group size, royalty and permit costs in different seasons, category of hotel accommodation, numbers of Sherpas allocated, equipment, type of arrangement, and package customization. We would like to discuss these details with our clients before offering a cost estimate. Please feel free to contact Taktok Brothers for any information about your selected package.
