Trip Overview

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Taktok Brothers as we take you to conquer the majestic peaks of Lobuche and Ama Dablam in the heart of the Himalayas.

Lobuche Peak: Discover the dual summits of Lobuche, standing tall at 6,119m (East Peak) and 6,145m (West Peak). Connected by a continuous ridge, these peaks offer a thrilling challenge with existing routes and the potential for new ones. The East Peak is a trekking delight, while the West Peak awaits those seeking an expedition experience. The dark triangle of the rocky East face forms a striking silhouette against the Khumbu Glacier moraines, creating the iconic south ridge.

Ama Dablam – The Matterhorn of the Himalaya: Known as the “Matterhorn of the Himalaya,” Ama Dablam is a breathtaking mountain with a distinctive pyramid shape. Soaring at 6,812m above sea level, Ama Dablam is not just about its height but the unparalleled aesthetics it boasts. Nestled in the Khumbu region of Nepal, south of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam offers splendid views during the ascent.

The Ascent: The typical ascent to Ama Dablam follows the Southwestern ridge, the same route conquered by the pioneers in 1961. Climbers establish three camps strategically, navigating the challenges of granite ridges and technical terrain. The journey intensifies from camp 1 to camp 2, with narrow ridges testing rock and ice climbing skills. While risks of glacier falls add to the thrill, the adventure is a testament that real exploration comes with risks. Prior climbing experience, coupled with rock and ice climbing skills, and acclimatization to high altitudes are prerequisites for those aspiring to conquer Ama Dablam.

Join Taktok Brothers Expedition: For climbers seeking to join a team on an expedition to one of the world’s most extraordinary mountains, Ama Dablam Expedition with Taktok Brothers is the ultimate experience. Our seasoned guides and meticulously organized expeditions ensure a safe and thrilling journey to the pinnacle of Ama Dablam.
